Clackamas Family YMCA
Welcome. Clackamas Family YMCA is a branch of the YMCA of Columbia-Willamette, which provides services in the Portland and Vancouver regional area. At the Clackamas Family YMCA we provide youth sports and after school programs and each year feature a run for kids and families as well as a skateboarding competition.



The Final Score
The YMCA approach to Youth Sports is different from many leagues. We focus on the YMCA five core values of love, honesty, respect, responsibility and service. Every child gets equal playing time and we encourage fair play, positive competition and family involvement. Our goal is to enable each player to excel in that other game we're all familiar with: the game of life.

 

Equal Participation
There are no try-outs or cuts in YMCA sports. Everyone is a valuable member of the team, and players share playing time equally. The most skilled and the least skilled players are given equal attention.

Keep Winning in Perspective 
YMCA coaches and athletes keep winning in perspective. Trying to win is natural, but it is not the primary objective of YMCA youth leagues.
